Participate in Study on Mass Audience Interaction

You are invited to participate in a game playtest session for a new livestreamed audience-participation game on December 18th and 19th. Anyone 13 or older with a Twitch account may participate. To participate, join https://www.twitch.tv/mtion_ at 3PM EST and 5PM EST on December 18th and 19th.

We’re exploring different styles of games and game mechanics for livestreamed audience-participation games. We are conducting multiple playtest sessions, please feel free to join as few or as many as you like.

You will play the game with approximately 100 other players, and will be asked to complete brief questionnaires about your gameplay experience. We will record participants’ interactions with the game and responses to the questionnaire, and may share an anonymized version of this data through research publications. You may also choose to volunteer for the opportunity to participate in a 30-minute interview to discuss your thoughts on the gameplay in more detail.
